On April 26, 2024, regional swimming competitions among healthcare workers were held, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. The competition was organized by the committee of the Vitebsk regional organization of healthcare workers trade union.

20 regional healthcare organizations and more than 50 medical workers took part in the competition, who competed for victory at distances of 100 meters for men and 50 meters for women.

On April 25, 2024, the event “Everyone Wrote the History of Victory” was held at VSMU, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and the upcoming Victory Day, organized by the department of pathological physiology, the military department, the military-patriotic club, and the primary organization of “Belarusian Union of Women” and the 103rd Separate Guards Airborne Brigade.

On April 25, 2024, at Vitebsk State Medical University and healthcare institutions, the 76th scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists with international participation, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the university “Topical issues of modern medicine and pharmacy,” was held.

On the eve of Victory Day and as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, the student council of VSMU, the primary organizations - "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" and the trade union organization of students are launching the literary challenge "Poems of Victory" from May 1 to May 31, 2024.
