On December 11, 2024, the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Dentistry held an event called "Job Fair" for the final-year students of the Faculty of Dentistry at VSMU.

On December 13, 2024, a meeting was held between the First Vice-Rector Alina Shchupakova, the Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel Nikolai Dorofeev, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Marina Fomina, the Deputy Dean for IEW Olga Fedchuk with the first-year students of the Faculty of Medicine on the issues of preventing extremism and terrorism.

The students received thematic memos, and the Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel Nikolai Dorofeev provided the necessary explanations and comments.

On December 12, 2024, the Rector of the University, member of the Expert Council on Healthcare under the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the CIS Alexey Chukanov, during the next meeting of the Expert Council dedicated to the topic of "Development of national evidence bases in healthcare of the CIS member states in the context of digital transformation of public administration systems", held at the headquarters of the IPA CIS (St. Petersburg), took an active part in the discussion of this topic, which is relevant for our healthcare system. It was emphasized that in the medical education system of our country, the Ministry of Health pays special attention to the development of digital transformation of medicine as a promising direction for improving the quality of medical care.

The Cinema House hosted a screening of one of the most anticipated films of the year - "Black Castle". The premiere of the film, which took place on December 12, 2024, was attended by the administration, staff and students of VSMU.

The visit to the film screening took place thanks to the support of the administration, the primary trade union organization of the university staff and students.
