On November 12, 2024, the employees of VSMU headed by the Rector Alexey Chukanov took part in the republican voluntary action “Give new life to the forest!”, planting pine seedlings in the Orsha forestry nursery.
The goal of the action is to restore forest areas damaged by the July hurricane. It started on October 12 on the initiative of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus and has been going on all over our country for a whole month already.
On November 10, 2024, the international event "Fresher's Night" took place. This annual "initiation into students" is traditionally organized by second-year students of the Sri Lankan community.
First-year students tried to conquer the jury and the audience with numerous diverse vocal and dance numbers, playing musical instruments and even magic tricks.
On November 12, 2024, Vitebsk State Medical University held a grand opening of the VSMU Voter Center.
The event was attended by the Rector Alexey Chukanov, the representatives of the university administration, the staff and students.
On November 8, 2024, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits took part online in the ceremonial event and scientific and practical conference “80 years of the Yaroslavl State Medical University: Traditions and Innovations”, which were held at the Russian partner university.
