On March 18, 2026, Vitebsk Regional Clinical Hospital hosted a landmark event in medical science — a scientific and practical conference with international participation titled "Practice-Oriented Immunology and Allergology." The event was dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology at Vitebsk State Medical University.

Vitebsk State Medical University is implementing a joint educational project by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, called "Start the Heart", aimed at 10th-grade students in general secondary education institutions.

This year, the organizers have decided to significantly expand the training program. In addition to basic skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, students will now learn first aid algorithms for common everyday incidents: injuries, fractures, and bleeding.

On March 14, 2026, the staff and students of VSMU embarked on a new journey along the route Vitebsk – Orsha – Alexandria – Kopys – Levki – Vitebsk, organized by the trade union committees of the university's staff and students.
