On June 26, 2026, the Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University hosted a solemn Council meeting dedicated to the 84th graduation of doctors from the General Medicine Faculty.

This year, 404 graduates received university diplomas, including 20 subordinates of obstetricians and gynecologists, 54 subordinates of anesthesiologists and intensive care physicians, 70 subordinates of surgeons, 30 subordinates of internists, 230 subordinates of general medical practice.

Vitebsk State Medical University hosted a solemn meeting of the University Council dedicated to the 63rd graduation of full-time pharmacists from the Pharmaceutical Faculty.

The event brought together 108 graduates of the Pharmaceutical Faculty, for whom this day became the starting point of their professional careers. Seven of them graduated with honors. 

On June 24, 2026, a meeting of activists from the primary organization public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" with a graduate of our university, a young specialist Maxim Budnitsky, took place at the youth site "Your Territory".

Maxim spoke frankly about his student life, his studies, his friends, and how the university gave him a start in his profession.

On June 24, 2026, the volunteers of the primary organization "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" of VSMU took part in the international cultural and educational project "Train of Memory 2026".

This year, more than 200 high school students from 18 countries are participating in the project.

The solemn Council of VSMU, dedicated to the 40th edition of Doctors of Medicine, the 31st edition of Pharmacists and the 21st edition of Doctors of Dentistry of the Overseas Students Training Faculty, was held on June 25, 2026.

Every year, more and more foreign students choose education in Belarus and, in particular, at VSMU. The high level of training, affordable tuition, comfortable and safe environment, as well as the recognition of diplomas abroad make our university one of the main centers of medical education for foreign citizens. The current issue is another proof of that.
