On March 14, 2026, the staff and students of VSMU embarked on a new journey along the route Vitebsk – Orsha – Alexandria – Kopys – Levki – Vitebsk, organized by the trade union committees of the university's staff and students.

On March 13, 2026, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted a ceremony to award membership cards to members of the Belarusian Belaya Rus Party and the Belaya Rus Republican Public Association, as part of the All-Belarusian campaign "We Are Citizens of Belarus."

On March 13, 2026, VSMU hosted a meeting between university students and Ruslan Tkachenko, an expert of the Synodal Department for Youth Affairs, specializing in education, upbringing, family policy, and youth work. He is also the Director of the Agency for the Positive Development of Society and Social Institutions, as well as the Director of the Institute of Demographic Development and Reproductive Potential. The event was also attended by a representative of the Vitebsk Diocese, Archpriest Sergei Zakharov.

On March 11-12, 2026, the VSMU large sports hall became a hub of activity for badminton enthusiasts. Competitions were held there as part of the dormitory spartakiad among institutions of secondary specialized and higher education in the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk.

The international online conference titled "International Cooperation in the Organization of Educational Medical Production Practices: Opportunities and Prospects," organized by the partner university, was held at VSMU.

The event was organized with the participation of Izhevsk State Medical University and brought together representatives from leading medical schools across the Eurasian space.
