There is a free trial access to interactive digital teaching aids, placed in the Electronic Library System ‘Student's Consultant’ (https://www.studentlibrary.ru) open for VSMU. The aids are placed in the section ‘Digital teaching aids’. These resources have been developed by GEOTAR-Digital together with teachers from leading medical universities of the Russian Federation and are aimed at in-depth and visual learning of basic and clinical disciplines.

On May 11, 2025, the Day of the State Flag, State Coat of Arms and State Anthem of the Republic of Belarus, a solemn opening of the Flag and Coat of Arms Square took place in Vitebsk near the Palace of Sports.

The delegation of Vitebsk State Medical University headed by the Rector Alexei Chukanov took part in the event.

The new square became a symbol of patriotism and unity, emphasizing the importance of the state symbols.

The students and staff of VSMU led by the Rector of the University Alexey Chukanov took part in the festive procession and solemn rally in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.

On May 8, 2025, the faculty of pre-university training of VSMU conducted a vocational guidance excursion for students of the branch of the educational establishment “Belarusian State Technological University”, “Vitebsk State Technological College” to the anatomical museum of VSMU, where they were shown the exhibits of the museum, as well as the features of the structure of the human body.

During the excursion the main attention of the students was focused on the specifics of studying at the medical university, and the importance of studying “Human Anatomy” as one of the fundamental disciplines for future doctors was repeatedly emphasized.

May 8, 2025, the delegation of VSMU took part in solemn events held in Vitebsk within the framework of celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.
