On September 10, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted a job fair organized as part of the national “Study and Work” project.

The event brought together students who wanted to begin their professional careers in the healthcare sector while still studying.

On September 10, 2026, the renovated running track complex at Vitebsk State Medical University was officially commissioned.

Students can now feel more confident and comfortable on the running tracks, allowing them to focus fully on their performance. The main innovation is the modernized rubber surface, produced using advanced technology. It provides enhanced shock absorption, significantly reducing impact on the joints and making training safer.

Since the beginning of August, young specialists have started working at healthcare institutions across the country. Ensuring decent working conditions and comfortable living arrangements for recent graduates is currently a matter of particular attention, as its successful resolution directly affects their adaptation and retention at their first place of employment.

In the 2026/2027 academic year, work continued on the VSMU student innovative project “Restoration of Churches in the Vitebsk Region”, aimed at engaging young people in studying the history and culture of Belarus and preserving Orthodox spiritual traditions.

As part of the project, its participants developed unique excursion routes across the Vitebsk Region featuring the region’s ancient churches.

As part of the university’s programme of activities aimed at providing first-year students with information and legal education, the “Active Student Life” interactive event was organized.
