Alexey Chukanov, Rector of Vitebsk State Medical University (VSMU), Member of the Supreme Political Council of the Belarusian “Belaya Rus” Party from the Vitebsk region, participated in the first meeting of “the Iskra” Youth Movement Council of the Belarusian “Belaya Rus” Party, which took place on November 1, 2025, in Minsk.

The event convened over 500 participants from across the country — representatives of regional headquarters, members of the Supreme Political Council, and distinguished guests.

On October 31, 2025, first-year students of the Stomatological Faculty and General Medicine Faculty, Fedor Chevankov and Ekaterina Pyanova, conducted career guidance meetings with students in grades 10–11 at the grounds of the State Educational Establishment "Secondary School No. 2 named after V.M. Kolesnikov Rogachev" and the State Educational Establishment "Gymnasium No. 4 Mogilev."

On November 1, employees and students of Vitebsk State Medical University, together with the university administration, participated in a citywide cleanup of Vitebsk. It is also noteworthy that students from the Faculty of Overseas Students Training contributed to maintaining cleanliness and order within the university premises.

On October 30–31, 2025, the First Congress of Respiratory Medicine Specialists from CIS countries took place in Minsk.

The congress was attended by presentations from the staff of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology with a course of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Staff Retraining at VSMU, consisting of the Head of the Department, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Oksana Ishchenko, senior lecturer Tatiana Gordievich and senior lecturer Sergey Generalov, as well as staff of the Department of Phisiopulmonology with a course of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Staff Retraining, consisting of the Head of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Alexander Budritsky, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Natalia Pravada.
