On April 16, 2026, information meetings were held at VSMU as part of a Single information Day on the topic: "Chernobyl: from renaissance to sustainable development."

The events covered all faculties and structural divisions of the university, the VSMU Clinic, student dormitories, as well as clinical departments.

On April 16, 2026, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted a scientific and practical conference with international participation "Actual problems of modern Dentistry", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Stomatological Faculty of VSMU.

The forum brought together representatives of leading clinical and academic schools not only in the Republic of Belarus, but also in the Russian Federation. Among the participants are guests from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Smolensk, as well as specialists from medical universities in our country.

On April 16, 2026, VSMU hosted a single information day dedicated to the theme: "Chernobyl: from renaissance to sustainable development." Dmitry Kuzhel, Vice Rector for Ideological and Educational Work, addressed the university staff. He highlighted in detail the path taken by our country: from the large-scale elimination of the consequences of the disaster and rehabilitation of polluted territories to their stable socio-economic development.

On April 15, 2026, the regional stage of the legal tournament of the Public Association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" - "The Power of the law: us and the law" took place in the conference hall of the morphological building of VSMU.

More than 20 Vitebsk region teams took part in the tournament and, of course, the team of our primary organization, the Public Association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union".
