From April 22 to 24, 2025 in Minsk armwrestling competitions were held in the programme of the Republican Universiade 2024/2025.

Irina Netylko, a 5th year student of the Faculty of Medicine, took the 2nd place in her weight category among girls (coach Leonid Petrovsky), and Ivan Sentsov, a 5th year student of the Faculty of Medicine, took the 3rd place in his weight category among men (coach Vladimir Lappo).

On April 24, 2025, the students of Vitebsk State Medical University under the guidance of the assistant professor of the chair of social and humanities sciences Martinkevich I.A. took part in the IV Belarusian-Russian student forum ‘We should live and remember’, timed to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

Students of the 1st year of the medical faculty of VSMU Alexandra Antipova, Ksenia Vachkova and Vera Rovneiko presented their reports devoted to the theme of patriotism and historical heritage. According to the results of the forum their speeches were marked with certificates and memorable gifts.

On April 24, 2025, a scheduled visit of the chief supernumerary ultrasound diagnostics specialist of the Ministry of Health Alexey Chukanov to the health care institutions of Baranovichi city took place.

On April 24, 2025, the delegation of VSMU headed by the Rector of the University Alexey Chukanov visited the first workplaces of young specialists in Brest region.

During the meeting with young specialists in Baranovsky maternity hospital and Baranovichi hospital the issues of professional training of the graduates, as well as providing them with comprehensive support, including social and legal aspects, were considered.
