On March 11, the Rector of the University, professor Shchastniy A.T. held a videoconference with the parents of students from the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. The meeting was also attended by a representative of the Embassy of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation. During the videoconference, which was held in the question-answer format, such issues as the safety of the educational process for foreign students, the peculiarities of issuing visas for foreign citizens when leaving the territory of the Republic of Belarus, the possibility of tuition fees payment delay, etc. were discussed.

To the question “Which of the numerous events will be the most interesting for you?” Maxim replied:

– I study at VSMU and love people, I like helping them. Therefore, I am most interested in various volunteer movements.

vit capital 04March brought cold to our city this year. But Vitebsk warmly welcomes guests, proudly bearing the title of “Youth Capital of 2022”. At the university some students are enthusiastically immersed in books, others with ease and confidence are hurrying through the noisy corridors. Life is in full swing: with the advent of spring, on Frunze Avenue you see more and more happy citizens inspired by the sun's rays.

Medical students combine work with pleasure during their lunch break: celebrating blueberry muffin day with treats and reading a dentistry textbook.

It may still be cold, but the clear, peaceful sky and surroundings bring warmth and delight!

The republican holiday “Vitebsk – Youth Capital of the Republic of Belarus 2022” and forum “Belarus. Young people. Heritage”

molod vit 07On March 10, 2022, the republican holiday “Vitebsk – Youth Capital of the Republic of Belarus 2022” and forum “Belarus. Young people. Heritage” was launched.

Volunteers, young scientists, student activists from all universities of our Republic arrived in Vitebsk. Lots of events coming up in the next few days will be held in the city, including our university.

The first event was held at Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherova. All the participants and guests were united with the festive mood. New acquaintances, unity of students from all universities are the main goals of this celebration.

The events will take place from 10.03.2022 to 12.03.2022.
