On July 12, 2025, Vitebsk State Medical University began accepting documents from applicants seeking education funded by the republican budget and on a fee basis.

From early morning, the university opened its doors to future students. Applicants actively started filling out applications and submitting documents.

On July 11, 2025, a bright and touching wedding ceremony took place in the botanical garden of Vitebsk as part of the Youth Days at the XXXIV International Arts Festival "Slavic Bazaar." The ceremony celebrated the union of Danila Kharchenko and Daria Boykova—active and talented students of Vitebsk State Medical University.

On July 11, 2025, students and staff of the university participated in the international conference "Time of the Union State: Cultural and Informational Space."

On July 11, 2025, the Youth Days were opened as part of the "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk."

Students of VSMU, led by the Vice-rector for Ideological and Educational Work, Dmitry Kuzhel, participated in the March of Winners and a patriotic event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

As part of the development of international and inter-university cooperation, a solemn signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement took place between Vitebsk State Medical University and Maikop State Technological University.

The signing ceremony was attended by the University Rector, Alexey Chukanov, the Vice-rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work, Denis Lits, as well as the Head of the International and Interregional Affairs Office, Elena Sharykhina.
