On September 10, 2025, Minsk hosted the inaugural Youth Women’s Forum titled "Women's Energy – For the Common Cause."

The event was attended by Diana Sharkovich, a second-year student of the Pediatric Faculty and chairperson of the youth wing of the Belarusian Union of Women at VSMU.

The forum was opened by Natallia Ivanovna Kochanova, Chairwoman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.

On September 11, 2025, students and staff of VSMU, led by Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work Dmitry Kuzhel, participated in the premiere screening of the film "Our Symbols," dedicated to the Day of National Unity (featuring the films "State Flag of the Republic of Belarus" and "State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus").

The screening for students and staff of VSMU was organized by the Department for Ideological and Educational Work with the support of the university's trade union committees.

On September 11, 2025, a delegation from Vitebsk State Medical University, consisting of Rector Alexey Chukhanov, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Legal WOrk Denis Litsa, and Head of the Department for International and Interregional Affairs Office Elena Sharykhina, visited State Educational Institution "Gymnasium No. 7 of Minsk named after V.I. Livenets." 

During the visit, agreements were reached to implement joint activities aimed at improving the quality of education, exchanging experience, and organizing career guidance activities for gymnasium students. This cooperation laid the foundation for a formal partnership agreement signed with the director, Larisa Smagina.

On September 10, at the National Library of Belarus (Minsk), the winners of the republican stage of the creative youth contest "Golden Pen of White Russia - 2025" were awarded.

The contest is organized by the Republican Public Association "White Russia." Over 2,000 participants took part in the event. Among them was Maria Litvinchuk, a 5th-year student of the Faculty of Medicine at VSMU. Maria was awarded a special prize in the "Student" category.

September is that special time when students, teachers, and educators return to classes after summer holidays. This month marks the beginning of a new chapter in life, filled with learning and acquiring knowledge.

Undoubtedly, everyone's journey to knowledge starts with school. Gladioli wrapped in crisp cellophane, a backpack filled with brand-new notebooks and pencils, white bows and collars. Standing with parents at the school line and joyfully reuniting with classmates. Unfortunately, we can't go back in time, but sharing fond memories with the participants of our photo exhibition is entirely possible!
