An official meeting was held at Vitebsk State Medical University with a delegation from Cherepovets State University (CSU), led by CSU Rector Olga Lyaginova.

During the event, the winners of the year-round spartakiad among teams from dormitories of secondary special and higher education institutions in the Oktyabrsky district were awarded, with the VSMU team taking 1st place.

On March 14, 2026, the volleyball championship among men's teams of students from years 1 to 5 of the Sri Lankan fraternity was held in the large sports hall of VSMU.

In the course of an exciting contest, the 5th-year team, the "Exorians," emerged as champions.

Vitebsk State Medical University is implementing a joint educational project by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, called "Start the Heart", aimed at 10th-grade students in general secondary education institutions.

This year, the organizers have decided to significantly expand the training program. In addition to basic skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, students will now learn first aid algorithms for common everyday incidents: injuries, fractures, and bleeding.
