On January 20, 2025, on the eve of a significant event for our country - the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus, a meeting of the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Nikolaevich Lits with the staff of the Faculty of Overseas Student’s Training was held at the VSMU Voter Center.

According to the results of the annual competition held by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus for the best doctoral and candidate dissertations in the nomination "medical and pharmaceutical sciences", the doctoral dissertation of the Rector of the educational establishment "Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University" Aleksey Nikolaevich Chukanov was recognized as the best (dissertation "Prenatal radiation diagnostics of congenital malformations of the fetus").

On January 18, 2025, a career guidance event "Targeted training fair" was held at the state educational establishment "Polotsk State Gymnasium No. 1 named after F. Skorina" to inform future applicants about the specifics of admission on the terms of targeted training.

The students and staff of the faculty of overseas student’s training of VSMU visited the exhibition of achievements "My Belarus".

The members of the delegation got acquainted with the achievements of our country in various fields - medicine, science, production, agriculture, culture, sports and other areas.

On January 16-17, 2025, the regional youth forum "Time of Your Opportunities" was held in Vitebsk, in which the trainee teachers of VSMU Anna Efremova and Yuri Pavlov took part.

On the first day of the forum the participants enjoyed visiting the sections "Healthcare" and "Sports and Tourism". The base for the section on health care was the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Center for Medical Rehabilitation for the Disabled and Veterans of Military Operations in Other Countries, where the participants got acquainted with the rehabilitation room, the multifactor relaxation room, and the center of traditional Chinese medicine.
