The evening of June 16, 2025, became a real festival of beauty and talent - the grandiose show "Miss VSMU-2025" was held with a dazzling scope! Ten bright participants, ten unique stories and a sea of inspiration - this is how we can describe this unforgettable contest.

Opening the evening, our contenders for the crown set the bar high: creative business cards, fiery dances and songs, and one of the contestants even skated across the stage on ice skates, causing a storm of applause!

June 16, 2025, Mr Santiago Perez Benitez, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Belarus, visited Vitebsk State Medical University.

The Ambassador met with Denis Lits, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organisational and Legal Work of VSMU. Also the Head of the Department of International and Interregional Relations Sharykhina Elena and the Head of the International Relations Department Pchelintseva Anna took part in the talks.

On the 16th of June 2025 in VSMU the scientific-educational school ‘Science is the business of young people’ devoted to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War started its work.

The Vice-rector on ideological and educational work Dmitry Kuzhel opened the School, wishing the participants fruitful work, creative successes and new discoveries.

On June 16, 2025, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee hosted a meeting of the Head of the region Alexander Subbotin with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Belarus Santiago Perez Benitez.

The meeting was attended by the First Vice-Rector of Vitebsk State Medical University Alina Shchupakova.

On June 14, 2025, the city opening of the labor semester-2025 took place in the Park of Winners. The solemn ceremony dedicated to this event gathered representatives of youth squads, leaders and guests of honor.

The event was also attended by the members of the medical squad of VSMU "Eskulap", as well as the secretary of the PO "BRYU" of VSMU.

During the day for children and their parents worked interactive sites, where you could find an interesting activity for every taste. Boys of the squad "Esculap" taught the children to make a tooth out of wax, to put stitches, as well as to make bandages for cuts.

The atmosphere in the park was really festive, and the awarding of vouchers for the labor semester made the event even more solemn and significant.

We are sure that the third labor semester-2025 will be interesting, fruitful and will remain in the memory of each fighter bright event! After all, WORK is COOL!
