On June 4-5, 2026, Grodno hosted the XXV Republican anniversary scientific and practical conference with international participation "Modern Achievements of Neurology and Neurosurgery" and a satellite Republican scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery of Grodno State Medical University.

On June 5, 2026, VSMU Rector Alexey Chukanov met with the participants of the university Olympiads. The meeting was attended by First Vice-rector Alina Shchupakova, deans of faculties, heads of departments, and members of the Student Council for the Quality of Education.

During the dialogue, Alexey Nikolaevich emphasized that the university administration always supports talented young people and creates all conditions for the development of their intellectual and personal resources.

The results of the regional and regional stages of the annual republican contest of creative youth works "Golden Pen of Belaya Rus - 2026" have been summed up.

The contest was organized by the Republican Public Association «Belaya Rus» with the support of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the Public association «Union of Writers» of Belarus and the Belarusian Union of Journalists.

On June 4-5, 2026, Vitebsk State Medical University hosts the IV joint scientific and practical conference with the international participation of the Association of Coloproctologists of the Republic of Belarus and the Association of Coloproctologists of Russia "Topical issues of coloproctology".
