VSMU in the project "Your Choice"

Tvoy vyborOn November 4, 2025, representatives of VSMU participated in a live broadcast of the project "Your Choice" on Radio Vitebsk. Marina Fomina, Dean of the General Medicine Faculty; Elena Gusakova, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee and Dean of the Faculty of Preparatory Training Course; and Kira Shuverova, a sixth-year student, discussed key aspects of studying at the General Medicine Faculty at VSMU and outlined the university’s admission procedures.

Marina Fomina highlighted the specifics of the educational process, the faculty’s achievements, and emphasized a practice-oriented approach to training future doctors. Elena Gusakova explained the nuances of university admissions, particularly the advantages of targeted education and university Olympiads. Kira Shuverova shared her impressions of student life, noting the high standards of teaching, research, and social activities at the university.

VSMU continues to actively participate in career guidance initiatives, helping applicants make informed decisions about their futures.

Event to update the VSMU Student Honor Board "The University is proud of them"

Open dialogue with the Rector of VSMU within the framework of “the Persona” project

proekt Persona 01“The Persona” project is gaining momentum! Its new stage featured an open conversation between Rector Alexey Chukanov of VSMU and students, which took place on November 5 at the VSMU Student Center. This event was timed to coincide with the university's birthday.

The "Open Dialogue" format is simple and effective: in an informal setting, participants can ask about anything of interest and receive honest, direct answers.

A revived story: excursion trip of VSMU staff and students to Polotsk district

ekskursiya Polotchina 01On November 1, 2025, the staff and students of VSMU embarked on a cultural and excursion trip to ancient Polotsk as part of the "Bells of St. Sophia" program.

Participants visited the renowned St. Sophia Cathedral, a gem of ancient Russian architecture, where they learned about the history of this unique monument. During the city tour, guests explored Polotsk’s main sights, including the Upper and Lower Castles, the complex of the former Jesuit Collegium, and monuments dedicated to prominent historical figures.
