On April 14, 2025, there was a meeting of VSMU students living in dormitories №3, №4, and №5 with the inspector of Vitebsk city department of emergency situations, senior lieutenant of internal service Maxim Sergeevich Belyaev on the theme: “Fire safety rules in dormitories”.
On April 15, 2025, on the basis of “Vitebsk Regional Children's Clinical Center” in the lecture room of the Pediatric Faculty of VSMU for obstetricians-gynecologists, neonatologists, pediatricians and general practitioners regional scientific-practical conference “Current issues of neonatology” was held. This conference was organized with the active participation of the staff of the Department of Pediatrics №2 with a course of FAT and PR of VSMU.

The Delegation of Vitebsk State Medical University, headed by the Rector of the university Alexey Nikolaevich Chukanov, takes part in the 30th International Medical Forum “Health Care of Belarus-2025”, which is held these days in Minsk.
Alexander Valerievich Khodjaev, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus, got acquainted with the exposition of VSMU, which presents innovative scientific developments, promising medical specialties and modern methods of education.
On April 11, 2025, the IV Republican contest of startup projects in the field of healthcare of the Republic of Belarus “MedicalStartup” ended.
The winner at the final stage of the competition was the joint project of VSMU and VSU named after P.M. Masherov “Application for computer diagnostics of brain diseases on the basis of artificial intelligence based on medical visualization data”.
