On November 29, 2025, the gyms of VSMU became the center of international student sports — two competitions took place simultaneously, involving students from the Faculty of Preparatory Training Course.

The mini-football championship was contested by teams from the Lebanese community. The tournament was dedicated to a national holiday — Lebanon’s Independence Day. In a tense and exciting struggle, where every victory was hard-fought, the honorable first place was awarded to the Lebanese Cedar team.

On December 1, 2025, the Faculty of Preparatory Training Course at VSMU organized a career guidance meeting for students of Secondary School No. 21 in Gomel. During the presentation of our university, prospective applicants learned about the specifics of studying and the vibrant student life at VSMU.

The event clearly demonstrated that successful admission and high-quality training of healthcare professionals depend on making a conscious, motivated choice to pursue a degree at a medical university. Since the first days of training, VSMU has fostered a unique, practice-oriented professional environment.

In preparation for the republican contest "All-Belarusian League of Debates," a training seminar was held at the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus on November 28, 2025. The seminar was attended by Polina Denisenok, Chairman of the Student Council of VSMU, and Egor Kostyukovich, Chairman of the youth wing of the primary organization of VSMU NGO “Belaya Rus”.

The All-Belarusian Debate League serves as a platform for developing critical thinking, public speaking, and argumentation skills among students of higher education institutions across Belarus. The competition aims to cultivate a future reserve of personnel for government agencies, organizations, and public associations by engaging enterprising young people.

On November 29, 2025, a dialogue platform titled "On Guard of Health" was held for students in grades 9-11 with a focus on chemistry and biology. The event was part of the Future Career Guidance project and was attended by representatives of VSMU: Dean of the Pharmaceutical Faculty Elena Gusakova, and students of the Pharmaceutical Faculty Pavel Pashkevich, Alina Yatsukhno, and Dana Zayats.

On November 28, 2025, a job fair was held for 4th and 5th-year students of the Pharmaceutical Faculty. Alexey Chukanov, Rector of the University, delivered a welcoming speech to the event participants. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of such events for students, especially graduates, and expressed gratitude to the representatives of the organizations that recruit staff, noting that they came from all regions of the country to participate.
