From April 14 to 28, 2025, the Institute of Medicine, Ecology and Physical Culture, Medical Faculty named after T.Z. Biktimirov of Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education ‘Ulyanovsk State University’ held XIX International Internet-Olympiad on Latin language and basics of medical terminology, in which 29 institutions of higher education took part. The Olympiad was held in 7 specialities.

On the 31^st of May 2025, on the eve of Children's Day, the trade union organisations of employees and students of VSMU organised a trip to Minsk for the students, employees and their children with a visit to the Chocolate Museum and Lebyazhiy water park.

May 31, 2025, VSMU delegation headed by the Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work Dmitry Kuzhel visited the historical and cultural complex ‘Stalin's Line’.

The participants of the event tried their strength by passing the RWD zones, receiving an ‘excellent’ grade and a Diploma of an active participant of RWD ‘Stalin's Line’.

On the eve of the Children's Day the students of the Paediatrics Faculty of VSMU together with the Head of the Department of Paediatrics №1 Elena Kosenkova visited Vitebsk Regional Specialised Children's Home.

The future paediatricians gave the children not only the charitable help collected by the staff and students of the departments of paediatrics №1 and №2, but also the most valuable thing - their attention and warmth of heart.

Vasily Kulagin, a 2nd year student of VSMU, represented the University in the final of the II Republican Contest of Youth Analytical Projects with the work ‘Resource potential of youth in the development of the state’.

The leaders of the project were the vice-rector on international relations, organisational and legal work Lits D.N. and the head of department of public health and public health care with a course of FAT and PR of VSMU, professor Glushanko V.S.
