On May 16, 2026, the rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov held a career guidance meeting with the students of Rogachev.

During the event, key aspects of admission to a medical university were discussed, as well as the opportunities that open up to applicants when choosing admission and studying on the basis of targeted training.

On May 15-16, 2026, the II International Angioedema Congress of Stroke Treatment Specialists was held in Minsk. The congress was attended by more than 500 neurologists, neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, intensive care physicians, X-ray endovascular surgeons, cardiologists, specialists in the field of medical rehabilitation, functional diagnostics, neuroinfections, etc. In addition, many colleagues joined the discussion of current issues in an online format. The congress was attended by leading Belarusian and Russian experts. The delegation from the Vitebsk region consisted of more than 90 people.

On May 13 and 14, 2026, in accordance with the Roadmap for Career Guidance for the 2025/2026 academic year, the Faculty of Faculty of Preparatory Training Course at VSMU organized career guidance tours to the Simulation and Certification center and the Anatomical Museum of VSMU for students from Vitebsk and the Vitebsk region (Postavy).

On May 15, 2026, on Family Day, students participating in the project, together with the volunteer detachment of the Vitebsk Diocese "Rays of Goodness" visited the Vitebsk Regional Specialized Orphanage. As part of the charity event, they held educational games and organized a theatrical performance.

In the period from May 11 to May 15, 2026, students and staff of the Pediatrics Faculty of VSMU took part in the republican action "Me and my family − against profanity." The main purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness among students and teachers about the negative consequences of swearing, to create a culture of communication and respect among students, as well as to involve students and their families in discussing the importance of purity of speech.
