As part of the implementation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus’s strategy to support young specialists, the administration of Vitebsk State Medical University conducts a systematic, ongoing dialogue with interns and young professionals working in healthcare institutions.

Participants of the project "Family and spiritual-moral traditions of Belarus" continue to study Belarusian traditions and introduce them to students of the Faculty Overseas Students Training. For example, on the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, students of VSMU went to fetch "Epiphany water" to explain to students from India and Lebanon the reasons why Belarusians collect water from natural sources and churches on this day, as well as the meaning and spiritual significance of the tradition.

On January 9, 2026, the Scientific and Technical Council (STC) held a meeting where, in anticipation of Belarusian Science Day, honorable diplomas of the university were awarded for many years of productive work, high professionalism, and significant personal contributions to the development of medical science.
