VSMU students got acquainted with the production facilities of RUE Belmedpreparaty

On February 19, 2026, 4th-year students of the Pharmaceutical Faculty at VSMU — future pharmacists — visited RUE Belmedpreparaty, the flagship of Belarusian the pharmaceutical industry.

Accompanied by experienced mentors — Ekaterina Chernyavskaya, Elena Frolova, Associate Professor of the Department of General and Organic Chemistry; Svyatoslav Stepin; and Sergey Dorozhko, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Advanced Training and Staff Retraining — the students explored the production facilities.

Unified Information Day at VSMU

On February 19, 2026, a Unified Information Day was held at Vitebsk State Medical University (VSMU) and the VSMU Clinic. The event, which brought together all structural divisions and faculties of the university, focused on topical issues of national security: "The Defense Power of the Belarusian Army and Patriotism in Modern Conditions."

Participants included students, faculty members, and doctors attending the Faculty of Advanced Training and Staff Retraining. The deans of faculties and heads of structural divisions delivered presentations to the audience.

In the rhythm of a national holiday: how winter was spent at the Vitebsk State Medical University

On February 19, 2026, the friendly community of Vitebsk Medical University celebrated Maslenitsa, a beloved festival marking the farewell to winter. The event brought together not only Belarusian students but also future doctors from around the world.

Every participant found entertainment to their liking: from traditional round dances and lively folk dances to truly heroic contests that tested strength and dexterity.

A reporting trade union conference was held at VSMU

On February 19, 2026, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted a reporting conference of the primary trade union organization of the university’s employees, the "VSMU" branch of the Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers.

The conference was attended by representatives of the administration, delegates from the university’s structural divisions, and Svetlana Kutuzova, technical labor inspector of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers.

VSMU at the "Target training Fair" in the agro-town of Novka

On February 19, 2026, a career guidance event titled the "Target Training Fair" was held at Novkinskaya Secondary School in the Vitebsk region, named after the twice Hero of the Soviet Union P.I. Klimuk. The event brought together students from grades 9 to 11 of educational institutions across the Vitebsk region, as well as representatives from higher and secondary specialized education institutions, enterprises, and organizations located in the Vitebsk region and the city of Vitebsk.

VSMU was represented at the event by Lyubov Orekhova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Preparatory Training Course, along with university students.
