On April 29, 2026, the opening ceremony of two updated plaques of Honor took place on Victory Square – the city and the Vitebsk region, each of which contains 20 winners of the competition based on the results of work in 2025.

Alexey Geroyev, Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, presented the Certificate of Inclusion on the Vitebsk City Honor Board to Alexey Chukanov, Rector of the All-Russian State Medical University.

The evening of April 29 flashed with a million lights — the stage of the Vitebsk Concert Hall turned into a center of attraction for beauty, grace and talent. The dazzling show "Miss VSMU–2026" thundered like a holiday that cannot be forgotten!

The show was designed in the majestic style of Olympus: as if the muses and goddesses themselves had descended from heaven to give the hall the magic of perfection. Ten shining stars, ten unique destinies and an ocean of inspiration — all this merged in one breath of the competition. Each participant became the embodiment of an ancient goddess: one captivated with the wisdom of Athena, the other with the grace of Aphrodite, the third with the courage of Artemis.

On April 30, 2026, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted a solemn ceremony of raising the National Flag of the Republic of Belarus, dedicated to Labor Day.

The holiday, which unites representatives of different professions and generations, gives spiritual uplift and energy, is traditionally celebrated at VSMU.

After all, the concepts of Peace and Labor are eternal symbols of creation, the key to the development of society, strengthening the economy and improving the welfare of the people.

On April 26, 2026, the National Center for Artistic Creativity of Children and Youth summed up the results of the republican contest of creative works among young people "Spring of Spiritual Heritage" and the international contest of creative literary and research works "Spiritual Light".
