Unified Lesson "Generation Relay: Preserving the Past, Creating the Future"

On September 1, 2025, in accordance with a well-established tradition, a nationwide unified lesson was held across the country. This year, it brought students together under a profound and constructive theme – “Generation Relay: Preserving the Past, Creating the Future.”
At Vitebsk State Medical University, this lesson took on a special significance. Future healthcare professionals – those who will be responsible for safeguarding the health of the nation in the 21st century – participated in engaging conversations with Rector Aleksei Chukanov, First Vice-Rector Alina Shcupakova, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Organizational-Legal Work Denis Lits, and Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work Dmitry Kuzhel.

University Council Meeting

On August 30, 2024, the regular meeting of the University Council took place. The Chairman of the Council, Alexey Chukanov, reported on the main tasks set by the President of the Republic of Belarus to the teaching community at the Republican Pedagogical Council.

University's badminton team successful performance

The university’s badminton team successfully performed in the finals of the Republican Universiade-2018, taking the high 6^th place.

International students from other medical universities are welcomed to participate in this program as well.

Vaccination against Covid-19 with the Sinopharm Vero Cell vaccine is carried out in all the clinics of the city of Vitebsk.

Everyone who has no contraindications can be vaccinated with Vero Cell in any clinic of the city.

Having a passport is required.

VI Chemical Olympic student Games

VI Chemical Olympic student Games were held on October 21-23, 2016, in the city of Zelenogorsk, not far from St. Petersburg. This year the Games have received the international status, and the team of our University for the first time participated in this competition.

Victory in the contest of national cultures, creativity and beauty "Grace International"!

The first open competition of national cultures, creativity and beauty "Grace International" was held on March 4 in the "Vitebsk" concert hall. Representatives of Belarus, China, Sri Lanka, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan competed for the title of winner. All the girls are university students of the regional center. They had to reveal their talents in multifaceted manner. The girls were supposed to impress the jury with culinary abilities, having demonstrated the national food, oratory and creative inclinations.

The final part of the competition was divided into two stages. The first stage and the first competitive test was a national food. The girls were really able to surprise the competent jury with national culinary masterpieces. The second stage of the final competition included a public speaking contest, a creative competition and a fashion show competition in national costumes and wedding dresses.
