Vaccination is carried out for students over 18 years old at the Student Health Center of VSMU from 27.09.21 (open every day from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.).

Vaccination against Covid-19 with the Sinopharm Vero Cell vaccine is carried out in all the clinics of the city of Vitebsk.
Everyone who has no contraindications can be vaccinated with Vero Cell in any clinic of the city.
Having a passport is required.

VI Chemical Olympic student Games were held on October 21-23, 2016, in the city of Zelenogorsk, not far from St. Petersburg. This year the Games have received the international status, and the team of our University for the first time participated in this competition.
The first open competition of national cultures, creativity and beauty "Grace International" was held on March 4 in the "Vitebsk" concert hall. Representatives of Belarus, China, Sri Lanka, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan competed for the title of winner. All the girls are university students of the regional center. They had to reveal their talents in multifaceted manner. The girls were supposed to impress the jury with culinary abilities, having demonstrated the national food, oratory and creative inclinations.
The final part of the competition was divided into two stages. The first stage and the first competitive test was a national food. The girls were really able to surprise the competent jury with national culinary masterpieces. The second stage of the final competition included a public speaking contest, a creative competition and a fashion show competition in national costumes and wedding dresses.
On 11 November 2018, Dr. Inderdeep Singh Pahal, Global Director for University/Institutional Partnership of Kaplan Medical Company, visited VSMU.
Kaplan Medical Company is the world leader in providing services for preparation for USMLE examinations to gain the right for licensed medical practice in the US, which also extends to other countries around the world. The company has been engaged in this sphere for 40 years. The percentage of successful passing the USMLE examination after completing the training at Kaplan Medical is 72-95%.
On 18 April 2019, the delegation from the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka headed by Deputy Minister of Health, Nutrition & Indigenous Medicine Mr. Faizal Kassim M.P. visited VSMU.
During this visit to our university, the guests got acquainted with its structure, material and technical facilities, organization of the educational process at the Department of Human Anatomy.
In June 11, 2018 a delegation consisting of Professor Germano Melissano - Head of the Clinic for Vascular Surgery of the San Rafael Hospital in Milan, a member of the International Society for Cardiovascular Surgery, the International Society of Surgeons, the European Society for Vascular Surgery; James George - Vice President for International Relations, San Donato Hospital Group (Italy), and Polina Dombure - Member of the Management Board of Inpharmatis (Latvia) visited VSMU.
On 27 November 2017, the Chairman of the Higher Education Council of the Republic of Latvia, Mr. Janis Vetra, and the Consul - the Head of the Consulate of the Republic of Latvia in Vitebsk, Mr. Ugis Skuja visited VSMU.
During their visit to VSMU, the guests became acquainted with the structure of our university, its material and technical facilities, the organization of the educational process at the departments of human anatomy and clinical microbiology, and also were shown the electronic library and anatomical museum.
On the 27th of February 2018 the Lecturer of the Chair of Nursing from Tallinn Higher School of Health, coordinator of training activities in Kohtla-Jarve structural unit (Republic of Estonia) Ms. Olesja Zeel visited VSMU.
The guest got acquainted with the structure of our university, its material and technical base, organization of the educational process at the departments of human anatomy and clinical microbiology and also visited the electronic library and anatomical museum.
Ms. Olesja Zeel discussed with the authorities of VSMU issues related to further international cooperation through bilateral interuniversity agreements and expressed interest in future joint projects.
