On March 17, 2026, Dmitry Kuzhel, Vice-Rector of Ideological and Educational Work, participated in a meeting of ideological activists from the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk.

During the event, the winners of the year-round spartakiad among teams from dormitories of secondary special and higher education institutions in the Oktyabrsky district were awarded, with the VSMU team taking 1st place.

An Open Day was held at Vitebsk State Medical University on March 21, 2026. Traditionally, the guests — prospective students and their parents — were welcomed by Rector Alexey Chukanov:

On September 13, 2025, a delegation from VSMU, composed of the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Organizational-Legal Work, Denis Lits, the Dean of the Pre-university Training Faculty, Elena Gusakova, Deputy Dean of the Pre-university Training Faculty, Lyubov Orekhova, and students, presented an orientation exhibition booth at the "Career Festival" held in Gorky Central Park in Minsk.

The delegation of Vitebsk State Medical University, led by Rector Aleksei Chukanov and including First Vice-Rector Alina Shcupakova, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Legal Affairs Denis Lits, Head of the Department for International and Interregional Affairs Elena Sharykhina, and Dean of Pre-university Training Elena Guskova, participated in the III Belarus-Uzbekistan Women's Business Forum.
