The event was held in the format of a videoconference and was devoted to discussing the prospects for cooperation in the field of higher medical education.
On July 14, 2026, the Regional Scientific and Educational Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of the Vitebsk region of the Republic of Belarus and the Andijan region of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held. The large-scale event brought together leading representatives of the academic community of the two countries, confirming the high level of mutual interest in the development of interregional cooperation in the field of science and education.

On July 16, 2026, online negotiations took place between VSMU and Shahid Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University (Pakistan).
The parties discussed the prospects of academic, educational and scientific cooperation and reached an agreement on signing a memorandum of understanding.
On July 18, 2026, VSMU hosted a working meeting between University Rector Alexey Chukanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zimbabwe to the Republic of Belarus, Mr. Ignatius Graham Mudzimba.

The university's active work in developing the export of educational services has allowed it to achieve recognition and become a finalist of the prestigious Republican competition "Best Exporter of 2023".
The first meeting of the Belarusian-Saudi Business Council is taking place in Minsk on July 15, 2026. The council was attended by representatives of relevant government agencies and major exporters of the two countries. VSMU acted as one of the main participants on the part of the education and healthcare system of the Republic of Belarus.
On June 26, 2026, as part of the Cooperation Agreement between VSMU and the Branch Center for Retraining and Advanced Training of Teaching Staff at Tashkent State Medical University, an online lecture on "Determining the sensitivity of bacteria to antibacterial therapy" was held.
The lecture was delivered by Vladimir Arkadyevich Matveev, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Distinguished Health Worker of the Republic of Belarus, Professor of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2 with a course in FPC and PC at VSMU.
On June 27, 2026, the admission campaign started at VSMU. At the first stage, documents are accepted from applicants who apply for targeted training.
