Thanks to the ongoing work to strengthen the international status of the university, VSMU entered THE Impact Rankings and occupies the 1501+ position, taking into account the high level of scientific research activity, social and global responsibility.
The Times Higher Education ranking evaluates universities from 130 countries and is one of the three most authoritative publishers of international university rankings.
On September 25, 2025, a cooperation agreement was signed between Vitebsk State Medical University and Gorbovich Secondary School.
The subject of the agreement is the joint activities of the parties in organizing and operating a specialized class with a medical focus, as well as achieving common goals such as improving the quality of education, fostering interaction, exchanging experience, organizing career guidance activities with students, and conducting joint scientific and educational events.
The results of the distance learning competition "The Best Educational Institution Website" organized by the Minsk City Institute for Educational Development have been announced.
