From February 14 to 18, 2024, the 3rd stage of the international sports festival “Physical culture and sports - the second profession of a doctor” is taking place at the Volgograd State Medical University.

6 teams of medical universities from Vitebsk, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Donetsk take part in the sports competitions. The competition program includes volleyball, basketball, table tennis, badminton, kettlebell lifting, darts, all-around competitions, swimming, chess.

VSMU foreign students - members of the Student Scientific Circle of the Department of General, Physical and Colloid chemistry took an active part in the IV International scientific-practical conference of foreign students and undergraduates “Foreign students to Belarusian science”, hosted by Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine", and received worthy awards.

First-year students of the Faculty of Overseas Students Training (specialty “General Medicine”) Monira and Abdul Monayem made a report “Ayurvedic medicinal plants of Bangladesh”, and students Rahman Manfuzur and Sumaya spoke on “How the population of Bangladesh use medicinal plants” (supervisor: Z. S. Kuntsevich). They were awarded I-degree diplomas.

VSMU students Volkorezova Vitalina, Kasyanova Anna, Gatilo Valeria, Abdul Monaem, Rahman Mahfuzur, Acter Mahima, the members of the Student scientific circle of the department of general, physical and colloid chemistry, took part in the 2nd International Student Ecological Congress StEC-2019 (21 -23 November 2019), organized by the BSU Chemical Cluster and the student project “BSU Virtuosos of Science”.

Second-year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy V.V. Volkorezov, A.V. Kasyanova, V.A. Gatilo participated in the competition "Eco-Life" and defended the eco-idea "Obtaining dry extracts and environmentally friendly products on innovative-based methods of processing of plant materials" and became the winners in the "Ecological Nutrition" category.

On 11-12 November 2018, the Chemical Faculty of the Belarusian State University in Minsk hosted 2018 Students’ Ecological Congress. 3rd-year students of Pharmaceutical Faculty Levchenko Ivan, Prokopenko Daria, and Sokolovskaya Lyudmila, and 2nd-year students of OSTF Volid Amani, Raniz Mohammed Aakib - members of Students’ Scientific Circle of the Department of general, physical and colloid chemistry of VSMU – took part in the work of the Congress. The scientific supervisor of the student team was Z.S. Kuntsevich, the head of the Department of general, physical, and colloid chemistry.

Socialization of people with spinal cord injuries became the key topic of the active rehabilitation camp organized by the Public Assasiation “Republican Association of Wheelchair Users”. The event was held from July 11 to 24, 2025 in Minsk at the Specialized Educational and Rehabilitation Center of the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Belarusian prosthetic and orthopedic recovery center”.

Volunteer support for the camp participants was provided by students of VSMU Faculty of Medicine: Zhukov Grigory, Simonets Elizaveta, Kulakov Nikita and Alekseev Alexander.
