On February 19, 2024, as part of the regional patriotic marathon #United, a dialogue platform was held at VSMU with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Vyacheslav Durnov, the Rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov, the Vice-Rector for Educational Work Natalya Boltrushevich, the Secretary of the PO "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" of VSMU Natalya Gaponko.

On February 21, 2024, dialogue platforms with the participation of the 3rd year students of the Faculty of Medicine continued their work at VSMU. The speakers were the Vice-Rector for Educational Work Natalya Boltrushevich, the Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty of Medicine Olga Fedchuk.

On October 9, 2023 the Republican Volunteer Center, in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Laboratory for Accelerating Sustainable Development, held a discussion platform on the basis of VSMU to collect proposals from young people to help achieve certain Sustainable Development Goals at the local level.
